The event seeks to bring together evaluators, development practitioners and other stakeholders to share experiences and gain new perspectives needed to tackle the current development agenda.
Participants are expected to include influential and renowned dignitaries, AfDB shareholders and partners, development practitioners, evaluators, decision makers, multilateral development banks and other donor agencies, civil society, academia, and non-government organizations. Attendees will have opportunities to engage in technical workshops, high-level discussions, as well as in other lively and interactive face-to-face or virtual forums.
Evaluation Week in the African Development Bank dates back to 2006. It is one of the ways in which Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) at the AfDB achieves its strategic objectives of enhancing learning from experience, providing a basis for accountability, and promoting an evaluation culture.
