The Kwantu platform allows us to configure new Apps quickly and easily.  Each App draws on core platform features, including an integrated reporting tool, advanced workflow, shared data forms, a data registry tool, offline and mobile working, and integrated performance reporting.

Data Registry tool

The Data Registry is an online space that helps different organisations working towards a common goal to use data collectively.  It provides tools to agree and share common data definitions that can be used across multiple apps.  This allows a central team to manage key data definitions that link to central data needs.  Apps using these data definitions can share data into a central database - even across different organisations.

Offline and mobile working

The Kwantu platform is designed with an offline first and mobile first architecture.  This means that all apps configured using the platform will continue working normally should the Internet fail.  This works both on laptops, desktops and mobile devices.  Apps also use responsive layouts, which means that the layout adapts to different screen sizes.  This provides a consistent experience for people on desktops, laptops, tablets and smart phones.

Advanced workflow and data entry forms

Our advanced workflow engine controls who needs to do what on a project, or for a client out of the box.  As data is entered, it can move from step to step, with role based assignments and internal or email based notifications to alert users.

Data entry forms include complex calculations and validations.  These simplify data entry and avoid common data quality errors.  Data entered in one form can be pulled through into another form, creating a chain of linked forms associated with one process.

Integrated report builder and shared data warehouse

Data from any app is already integrated into a shared data warehouse.  As you add new apps and forms data from these is also automatically integrated.  Our integrated report builder makes it simple for power users to create their own reports.  Start by creating queries to extract data.  Then join data from different forms - across apps too - to extract the data you need.  Choose how to lay this out on a report and publish it for your colleagues to use.  Each report also includes a JSON feed to access the raw data in a machine readable format.

Integrated performance reporting app

The performance app is designed to make reporting against annual performance plans faster, easier and more accurate.  It enables you to manage a shared library of indicators, which are linked to specific annual performance plans.  The performance app integrates with other apps that generate performance data.  This could - for example - be used to automate monitoring of client satisfaction, using data recorded in the client app on client satisfaction.
